I appologize for any inconvience this may have caused you. \n\nThank you to
those who joined our group in Jointry & boxes series #1&#2 I will see you
on the 27th!\n\n\n\n\n\nJointry & boxes series #2 \nJointery mystery unvail
ed.\n\nWe will continue our group series on jointery and heading towards ma
keing a gosner machinest tool chest. This series will help familiarize you
to finger jointing\, dovetailing\, selecting the right wood for the job\, s
anding polishing\, finishing and the use of power or hand tools which ever
you are comfortable utilizing. and learn how to find\, free hard and soft w
ood for your projects!\n\nThis meetings venue \nA well jointed box and draw
er is the signature of fine wood working. For many who have never made draw
ers for a cabinet\, kitchen\, or dresser\, making box joints or dovetail jo
ints seems an ominous mystery to complicated to unvail. However\, with an e
lectric router and an appropriate jig\, this mystery is unvailed in a simpl
e and quick process of gang cutting all your drawers at once\, making a few
passes through this router\, and viola\, your joints are made.\n\nI will b
e explaining \nThe importance of jigs \nwhat jigs are \nHow they are made \
nHow they are utilized in making joints. \nWhat an electric router is \nWha
t a stanely# 55 is and how it can help with jointery \nWe will discuss your
gosner chest design and what type of wood you initialy want to utilize.\n\
nThe jig \nA jig?s greatest assets are speed and ease of cutting your mater
ial. \nAfter you go through a fussy initial setup\, it takes very little ti
me to cut a lot of perfectly fitting dovetails\, box joints and more. It mo
re than compensas for the setup time. A chest of \ndrawers\, a run of box p
arts\, or drawers for an entire kitchen are ideal applications for one of t
hese jigs. Once you dial everything in\, whether you are utilizing an elect
ric router or a stanley #55 Plane you could easily cut all the joints you n
eed in a short period of time!\n\nWe will learn how to make a box joint jig
in this meeting\, focusing on jig making will make your woodworking a lot
 more expdidiant.\n\nSeveral pieces of scrap ¾ inch thick x 5 ½" wide wood a
decent length at least one foot long. If you have already purchased an 8ft
board go ahead and bring it!\n\nWe will be utilizing this wood as practice
pieces. So inexpensive is the name of the game here! \n\nThere is a meetin
g fee \nof 10.00 that allows the organizer to purchase photocopies\, meetin
 g resources\, some supplies and refreshments.\n\nSnohomish\, WA 98296 - US
